WelcomeWelcome to Parents’ Morning Out (PMO) at Duke Memorial UMC! The mission of PMO is to create a compassionate, safe, and nurturing Christian environment for infants, toddlers, and their parents. PMO has been a part of the community and Duke Memorial UMC for 32 years. We are staffed with 14 wonderful teachers, many of them have been apart of this program from over 15 years.
PMO operates Monday- Friday from 9:15am- 12:45pm. The program includes free play, crafts, playground time, and snacks. Parents provide their child’s lunch that is eaten during PMO hours. We closely follow a traditional school calendar from September- May. PMO accepts children 8 months old- 3 years old without regard to race, nationality, or creed. Summer Camp options are offered during June and July to children who were enrolled in our program during the previous school year. |

Safe Sanctuaries
At Duke Memorial, we believe that children are a gift from God. In order to demonstrate our absolute and unwavering commitment to the physical safety and spiritual growth of all of our children and youth we have a Safe Sanctuaries Policy. The Safe Sanctuaries Policy is a set of guidelines and procedures implemented to create an environment in which children, youth, and adults who work with them have boundaries of safe space. All volunteers and workers with infants, children, and youth have had background checks and have received training in our Safe Sanctuaries Policies.
