June Update from the Finance Committee
Dear Church Family,
On behalf of the finance committee, I want to express our gratitude to all of you for your support and generosity through your regular tithes and offerings, time, creativity, volunteer ship, and so many other ways we show up for each other as a beloved community.
Your continued financial giving has enabled Duke Memorial to live into our church mission of sharing the love of Christ from the heart of Durham. Your contributions, whether big or small, play a vital role in the Mission and Vision of our church and for that, we are truly grateful. Currently we are about 8% behind for the year. While we are immensely thankful for what has been given, it’s important to remember that over 80% of our financial needs are met by pledged income. Your ongoing support is vital especially as we enter the summer months.
We invite you to review your giving and ensure that it is up to date. One simple way to do this is by considering setting up a monthly auto-draft through our online giving portal on our website. This streamlines the process for you and ensures a consistent flow of support for our church community throughout the year. Additionally, please double-check if your auto-draft information from last year is still active, as some may have been reset.
Together, we can continue to make a difference in the lives of others and further God’s kingdom from downtown Durham.
