Pastoral Intern | Duke Divinity
Hello, Duke Memorial UMC!
My name is Caleb Wolf. I am from Smyrna, Delaware. I use he/his or she/her pronouns. I am a second year Master of Divinity student at Duke Divinity School. Before Duke, I attended Sarah Lawrence College and received a Bachelor of Arts. At Sarah Lawrence, I principally studied Spanish, Theology, and LGBT Studies. During my undergraduate experience, I was fortunate enough to study abroad in both Peru and Cuba. When asked, “Caleb, where is your spiritual home?” I respond exclaiming, “Cuba!” It was one of the most formative experiences of my spiritual and personal life. I might also respond to that question by saying, “nature!” I find peace, life, and a sense of a better world when I am in nature; therefore, most of my hobbies include being outside, such as hiking and swimming. I care very much about health and wellness, so I frequently exercise, eat lots of vegetables and fruits, and spend intentional time each week self-reflecting and being still. I look forward to building relationships and learning with the Duke Memorial UMC community. I hope my academic training, professional skills (primarily as a teacher), and complex life experience will culminate and prove to be an asset to the Duke Memorial UMC community.
