Columbarium
|
A columbarium is a wall made up of niches (compartments) which holds the ashes of those who have died and has their names engraved over each resting place. Having a columbarium on church grounds and within a contemplative setting not only allows people who come to the church to honor loved ones and friends, but it also affirms our own embodiedness and communal relationships within the body of Christ.
