“Lord Jesus, you know the experiences of those who come here, and you have shown us by your example how to care for them. You shared food with your disciples and with the multitudes of those who came to learn from you. You welcomed the children to your side. And as a youth, you sought answers in your Father’s temple. Bless those who come here for Al-Anon and NA, sick at heart from the effects of addiction. Help them to find healing in this place. You taught us that when we feed those who are hungry, we feed you. Bless those who come here to Mobile Market to find food not only for their body, but for their soul. Help us to use the resources of these spaces to be your presence in this world, and help us to imagine new ways to use what you have given us as we move boldly into the future. Amen.”
