Queerly Beloved​

Join us for our second annual Queerly Beloved worship at Duke Memorial UMC in downtown Durham. This is a beautiful and empowering service “Led by Queer People, for Queer People, and Welcoming All.” We are so excited to offer this unique, community-led worship again during the 2021 Durham PRIDE weekend.

We are excited to welcome you to our Sanctuary. Free parking is available on Memorial Street, behind the church. The Sanctuary is accessible from the parking lot via the marked entrance at the crosswalk or by walking around the block to enter from the front. 
COVID-19: Masks and social distance are required for everyone in the sanctuary. Our Sanctuary is a large, open space and we follow CDC recommendations for air-flow and filtration. Songs will be led by instrumentalists or a solo vocalist as congregational singing is not yet permitted.

We are excited to welcome you to Queerly Beloved via livestream. The stream will go live at 5:20 PM in advance of the service which begins at 5:30 PM.

Today’s offering will be given to the LGBTQ Center of Durham, in support of their mission to support LGBTQ+ people through services, programming, resources, and support networks that centers their wellbeing and allows them to thrive.

​LGBTQ+ Formation Group

First Meeting: Sunday, Oct.3, 7:00 PM
We are excited to offer a new formation group! We hope to create a safer space that we may come together in fellowship, heal from our past and present experiences, and grow into our better selves. This group is open to all, including allies, to explore faith and life together. In our first meeting we will introduce ourselves as well as dream about what kind of community we hope to create. Future meet-ups will be in various places across Durham and Raleigh.
