Introducing Rev. Hope Ledbetter-Bock
|
Rev. Hope Ledbetter-Bock is thrilled to join us in July as our new Lead Pastor at Duke Memorial, following her role as Associate Director of New Faith Communities and Clergy Life for our Annual Conference. Prior to working at the conference, she served as Pastor of Community Life at Fuquay-Varina UMC. As a Triangle native, Hope has spent time worshiping and serving at churches in Raleigh, Chapel Hill, Morrisville, and Durham. Hope loves to gather people together over coffee, dinner, or a hike with her pup, Basil. Hope and her husband, Adam, met in undergrad at UNC Chapel Hill, and they have lived in Durham for 10 years. Adam is an Ordained Deacon who serves as the Summer Camp Director at Camp Chestnut Ridge. As a Durham native, he is also a proud Duke Memorial Weekday School Alum! Hope and Adam attended Duke Memorial while they were in Divinity School at Duke, and they have frequently worshiped here during Hope’s time serving in the conference office. They are so excited for this new season of ministry at Duke Memorial!
